Help! C3 Windshield Wiper Mechanism and Door Adjustment

Does anyone have any written instructions or "how to" tutorial on how to properly adjust the winshield wiper mechanism on a '68 C3? I have a lot of gap between the windshiled wiper door and the windshield itself compared to others I've seen. Would like to try and close this gap and get door closer to windshield when in closed position.

Currently stripping car down for complete paint job - as I go back will be replacing everything in terms of bushings, screws, hoses, etc. etc.....thus reason I was looking to have a "how to" guide for this work.

Do you have the assembly instruction manual (AIM)? The AIM shows the wiper door installation and explains some of it. Technically, there is not too much forward/rearward adjustment for the 68-72 wiper doors.

If the gap between the wiper door trim and the windshield is too much, it is possible the windshield has been replaced.
