Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

C6 photoshop picture

Well I guess we should save these images in one of our folders so when they ask us to remove them from the CAC we can still have a good likeness of the Next Generation to look at!

disappeared off the CF site eh?
so is this site next?....guess we'll just have to 'stay tuned';shrug

If I am contacted by GM to remove the photos from this site, they will be removed without haste.

As I have already stated here: http://corvetteactioncenter.com/modules.php?s=&name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=13

Due to the nature of this site, I would like to ask that forum members try and insure that the information they post publicly here in the forums is, to the best of their knowledge, accurate and reliable. I am not fond of posts such as "Guess what I saw on the floor at the Bowling Green Assembly Plant today...." etc. While it may seem like exciting information, in most cases, it's 100% completely inaccurate and causes rumors to start. It goes against what this site stands for. Certain information and future plans for Corvette development are classified by GM and they are classified for a reason. I would appreciate it if members respect GM's desire to keep certain information confidential.

I would also like to stress that if you are a GM employee and a member of these forums and you are posting classified information (regardless of whether or not they are confidential design photos or PhotoShopped images), they are CLASSIFIED for a reason. DO NOT post classified information in these forums. It is a major risk in job security for you and can lead to legal problems for this site.

I am not a GM employee and will remove the post if requested to do so.

That is the best rendition I have seen so far. I love the back end, with the '80-'82 look. It is the perfect improvement of the C5's bulbous butt, which was always my biggest complaint. Regardless of the rest of the car, all of the magazines seem to have used this design for the rear-end and as well. I hope it is what we get.

I really like the headlights too. By far the best so far. Very piercing and intimidating.

The only thing that needs work is the grill. Like someone said, looks too much like a goofy smile.

I was also about to say it also looks a bit too much like the C5, and then I saw that is exactly what the picture was photoshopped from, haha. Overall though, some very good pieces to the puzzle, I must say.

And as for it being banned--I think the only reason why is that he claims to be a GM employee. That is the only way GM can have any right to do what they did. Other than that, it is a free country, and we are free to speculate about whatever we wish, no matter how close we come to the real thing.

with haste, and no doubt about it.
;worship :CAC

Nelson, you are absolutely correct. That is clearly where this person got the ideas from. There is no doubt in my mind now that this is nothing what the C6 will look like, except the emblem.

After seeing this C6 post...

After seeing this C6 post...

I'm going out and get me that C5!!!

Yech!

Me no like what I see. Hope this isn't the final look and feel. C5's are going up in price. !!!

Cheers!
Bill.

Looks more and more like Jujubee knew... Long Live Jujubee!!!
:m

Yeah, he got the front end, rear end, and doors right, I think.

But his body is just a C5, and its going to be different than that. But I'm not sure his intention was to show body dimentions anyway. I think he just wanted to show the cosmetic changes.

I really like what I see.I was ready to buy a convertible 2003 50th. Anniversary Edition last fall but I'm glad I waited.I was ready to buy a blue 2001convertible with 1200 miles before Easter but I'm glad I waited....lol...You guys think I will hold on 'till next year?????.The overall C5 is a fantastic machine but I had a few complaints.I was and still am very disappointed about the 50th. Anniversary Edition although it is a great looking car.I would have liked a tad more ponies just to say it had them.If they would have tacked on a few grand for them ,no problem. But they didn't.They could have made the Indianapolis 500 Pace-Car a convertible with more ponies and that would have got me gathering my pennies, but they didn't....So hear I am now finally seeing my wish come true.....MORE PONIES in a convertible !!!!!!!!............I am very happy to hear that the C6 will get more horsepower for that is the reason I didn't pull the trigger on the Anniversary Edition.I like the idea of the fixed headlights if it will help with noise levels and aerodynamics.I never liked the front end of the C5 because it resemebled the front end of Japanese cars, the C6 front end looks better, and I'm guessing it will help air flow to the intake. The new logo look-alike looks good also(just enough to say it has been upgraded). All the great things about the C5 PLUS more HORSEPOWER...AWWW I'm a happy camper now..:)..One little detail....I hope the C6 doesn't get those 5 spoke mags though. This is just my 2 cents!

If you switch the scoop around it looks a lot like the revised Acura NSX with fixed headlights. If the door handles are recessed into the rear pillars, as was said yesterday, there is another similarity.

... and they both have windshields and 4 wheels!! Come on, one could say that the Acura ripped of the scoop from the late 70s C3, and turned it backwards. I guarantee you that someone else had the door handles in the pillars before acura too. All cars evolve and borrow styling elements from each other. The first popup headlights were Cord's not Corvette. That doesn't make the C2 look like 1930's rip-off. Wait until you see the complete car to judge its "personality". I guarantee you will not confuse the C6 will an Acura NoSeX when you see them on the street.

Glad you're happy with your investment. I've been driving my C4 for more than 16 years. The C4 will be a classic and you will enjoy it very much. BUT, this C6 forum is to discuss the newest evolution of a great machine - Corvette. There is no competion between vette gens just commoraderie. Enjoy your car, and let us know if you run accross any juicy pics of the C6.

Save the wave:v

I've had at least one of each C1, C2, C3, C4, C5 and they all were very exciting to own in their way!!! Save the Wave.

I'll take a C4 body over any C5/6

Good for you. You sure do spend alot of time at C6 forums (making mostly negative comments) for a guy who doesn't care about them. :eyerole If you really love your car so much, then spend more time driving it and less time making negative comments about something you clearly know nothing about.
