Callaway pictures w/in> feel free to add some to the thread

Could anyone tell me if the owner of the Callaway GS has a website with more pictures of his car? That thing is beautiful!

Thanks in advance

I'm guessing the black one is a ZR-1? What do those hood scoops blow on? I wonder if they'd work better turned around to pull hot air out, and help flow through the radiator? Of course they wouldn't look as cool that way, though. :)

I would like to see it with the hood popped open!
As far as i can see this is no ZR1, and i see no teardorps so i wonder if the B2K is also not there... :ugh

The teardrops just fill in the hood holes where the 'vette badge was. I'm not sure why that would indicate which model car it is? Maybe I'm missing something? If it were a later aerobody addition, maybe the guy had the holes filled in or something, or did a complete repaint?

Looking at the doors, they look like they widen out towards the back. But I always have a hard time telling in pictures if it's the wide body.

Looking at picture #2 the Black one can't be a ZR1 because the dash is from an 80 something model....:confused

Guys,Im pretty sure this car is not a Callaway or B2k. Look at the position of the hood scoops...clearly they are in the wrong place...too far down on the hood. If I recall from my reading somewhere this car is an 85 model, but I could be off on that.

Here is a pic of Sam's car for comparison.

I know what you guys are saying - I am thinking it is an 87 Corvette though -

The car has a third brake light as Corvettes have had since 1986 :cool and also has the wind deflectors - On coupes, they were on the 1987's only :eek

Also, while I have not seen under the hood, it could have had the NACA's "removed" and replaced w/ the blisters over the existing "holes" allowing the use of the factory underhood ductwork :cool - although the dark car has the blister moved in vs. NACA's sitting more to the outside of the hood and slightly lower :confused

(87's also had a different wheel offset and therefore, the wider rear wheels could be fitted without them sticking out :cool

Here is an '87 for referance: - What do you think???

The front wheel lip on that black aero car is that of a later model C4. If it was pre 88 the lip on the front wheel would be similar to that of the rear wheel. Guessing it's probably an 88 or 89 C4.

Hmmm...

I could be wrong about it being an 85, thought I had read that. My 85 had the 3rd brake lamp mounted on it, and the 84-87s all had the same wheel offset, so who knows. A ZR1 offset wheel will fit an 84-87 almost flush...less hang than the amold on the GS.

Im still going to contend that at the least it is not a B2k until someone shows the under hood. If you think about it who wouldn't pop the hood on a b2k car at a car show? ;) If they don't there may be a reason.

Gotta agree on that :crazy

Maybe someone from Western PA. knows the car and can help fill in the blanks :v

I guess the mirror deflectors could have been added however, they were an 87 coupe thing - but on other years for convertibles

I think I know that black car. If it's the one thing I am thinking of it has a 383 in it. I don't know if it's a real one or not but I'll be able to see it in a few months when I get home. I've heard rumors that it isn't real
