Why was the Black Ice thread closed just when we were getting some good information? It seems that GM was really upset about the picture of the C6 logo. Just when it was getting interesting.

That was interesting??? Maybe out of morbid curiosity ... - I felt like I had lost 4 minutes of my life after reading a post that is USELESS w/out pics or an honest description.:Silly

I closed it, mainly because it was enticing someone to join here as a troll and spam that thread.

I do not allow trolls on these forums and if the nature of a thread is inviting trolls, I would just as soon close the thread and if necessary, remove it all together.

I don't have a problem reopening it, but at the time, someone attempted to register in the forums with false information and post within that thread.

To be very blunt, a troll is basically a useless POS that comes on any forum to create trouble. Do not confuse the childrens book about trolls with the internet version.

Good choice Rob - I had the pleasant experience of personal denigration by a troll on one of my University listservs. The more you tried to standup for yourself the worse it got. After about a week of profanity, cursing and the like; we all decided to quit responding and he finally went away. Terrible experience.

By the way, your little picture ironically looks like what I envision to be a troll - perhaps a more "representative picture would be good"? Just a thought! Thanks though for your moderation!!
