I am about to install new 7 leaf rear spring. I have decided to install poly bushings, but I'm confused about the washers. OEM rubber bushings use cupped washers, however, if you look at the VB&P catalog it shows a pic of poly bushings with 1 regular looking washer on the outside of the bushing. In other words, do poly bushings use the OEM washers that are cupped or a more traditional washer? I called VB&P and asked for clarification, but the person on the phone was a little confused.

I used large flat washers. I ended up making my own washers. They were totally flat but very large to cover as much of the bushing as possible.
I also like to upgrade the bolt size at the same time. A local bolt supplier could supply new grade 8 hanger bolts in a larger size.
I broke a grade 10 once so I dropped back to grade 8, more ductility in grade 8.
