hello, i have a 97 corvette with roughly 120k miles. For some reason I cant access my DIC buttons. They are not working at all. I cant pull codes or program my key fob or even cycle through the options corresponding to the specific buttons, and etc. what seems to be the problem? thanks any help is greatly appreciated

First off welcome to CAC. I've heard of this, but don't remember the solution. I'll do some checking and in the mean time, maybe someone else will know the answer and post up.

That's a new one on me... I've never heard - or don't recall hearing - about that issue. Hopefully Tom can dig up something useful or someone who's experienced the problem will jump in shortly with suggestions.

At any rate :welcome

Oh ok thanks very much. I'm proud of joing CAC. I hope somebody can give me an answer soon cause this has been a pain not accessing the DIC buttons

I did some searches on this and other forums.....

DIC Buttons not working! - Corvette Forum

Is your battery good? Sometimes when they get older wierd stuff starts to happen. 700 CCA and 120 RC...is what is recommended. Have you tried unhooking the battery and wait a minute and then hook it up again......that might reset it......good luck..
