Did you watch your newscasts? ;)

Dang, even just on the sound bite you have my brains coming outta my ears.
Congratulations...so who drove it to the cottage and how did it run/handle/allthatstuff?

congrats Bob!!!!!!!!!
it must have been pure pleasure seeing her turn over and hear that motor start after all your work.
Did you drive the car down to your cottage also?
Damn man, give us some details!

Thanks for the kind comments, but I couldn't wrestle Mac (he's way bigger than I am) outta the driver's seat before we ran out of fuel, so we left it at home for the convoy to the cottage.

Mac, Fuelie, Z28Canuck and Bossvette (and wives) made the trip down for our overnight classic-car-show, fall fair, and evening bench-session until we all collapsed for a well-earned night of rest from exhaustion. :crazy We had several other local people (Mart) the car's painter, the bodyman, etc. drop by for the launch. My neighbours took it light-heartedly. ;)

67HEAVEN has a few minor items left to prepare her delicate female sensilbilities prior to her maiden voyage. She did, however, whisper in my ear that, she too, is getting the itch. ;)

Mac had hand-cuffed himself to the steering wheel, so by the time we finally got those off, I was a complete nervous wreck.....and almost out of fuel. ;LOL

Thanks to all the guests who dropped by. I hope they'll jump on here and tell you how the weekend was for them. Great people!!!!!

My wife and I just returned from an enjoyable weekend. 67HEAVEN is much better in person (both the Car and Bob) and will post more stuff after I am rested. All the people we met this weekend were wonderfull, my wife and I had a great time; so much so that the next trip we will probably stay so long the border patrol will be looking for us.;LOL

Awesome pic. . .please pardon my ignorance and cut a girl some slack. . .what year is the C3? Be still my heart! ! ! !

:eek OMG! ! ! SWEEEET! I'm in love. . . I want SWEET to sound juuuuust like that !

I'm thinking a short time ahead to a stoplight where there sits a.....wait for it.....a little Honda Civic with a fart-pipe.

I'm just gonna slowly pull along-side, while waiting for the green, and see if I can catch his expression out of the corner of my sun-glasses. ;help

;LOL

Be careful Bob, with the big tubes pointing straight out you just might blow him off the road, litteraly.

The yellow C3 is my wife's '78 (her x-mas gift from me in '96) We alternate going to events with the '78 and the '65

We had a great time with all the gang!

It was nice to meet Mac / Bossvette and Courtney and Mart

Nothing like good folks and open headers on a fall day, followed by a "spirited" drive in the country to a cottage by the lake.

We must thank Mr. & Mrs '67 for the wonderful dinner and hospitality:D

We need to do this more

Bob, he is going to be too busy checking to see if his car is still running, since he cannot hear anything but your car and the ground is vibrating;LOL

Sounds like you all had a good time, can anyone make out what Mac is saying at the end :D :D :D

The neighbors must have loved the open exhaust :D

Congrats to you Bob, it looks like you are almost there.
