The yellow C3 is my wife's '78 (her x-mas gift from me in '96) We alternate going to events with the '78 and the '65

We had a great time with all the gang!

It was nice to meet Mac / Bossvette and Courtney and Mart

Nothing like good folks and open headers on a fall day, followed by a "spirited" drive in the country to a cottage by the lake.

We must thank Mr. & Mrs '67 for the wonderful dinner and hospitality:D

We need to do this more

Nobody should ever get blasted for asking a question. We are all friends in the Corvette hobby and we all learn from each other. I have been playing with these cars since 1968 and have questions every day;)

J says thanks about the comments on her car, she loves it too, but she misses her '69 427 Tri-power car she had before it.

I finally got myself back to a computer!!

Folks, there isn't a picture in the world which comes close to doing justice to the work of art which Bob created. Add to that the gracious hospitality of Bob and his lovely wife, Susan and it was a winning weekend which I will remember for the rest of my life.

It was great to have the group together and we'll definitely have to do this again. Thanks again, 67!! Now, I have to get home and start selling things. :D

Bob,

Do you have any shots of the induction set-up, I assumed untill I had seen the the second video that it was to be bonded to the hood, not on the carb.

Congrats again,
Tom M

amen to that mac..:)
Im sure to be included in the launching of such a fine automobile and the getting to turn the key for the first time..would be a tear jerker for sure, "heck i have watery eyes just from reading"..to see friends from miles apart brought together just from a piece of fiberglass and steel is totally awsome ,
you guys are the bestest!!
Sherry:)

Tom,

Yes, the induction set-up will be bonded to the hood. We didn't want to "guess" at the exact forward-aft location since the car was painted on the wooden dolly -- off the frame.

The car is going back into the paint shop for some minor adjustments soon. That's when we'll measure the exact center of the Holley carb and bond the fiberglass to the appropriate position in the hood.
