What to do if you want to change carb. and dist. so you can do away with computer ?;help

If you want to downgrade, all you have to do is buy an aftermarket carb and a standard HEI distributor and install them. The only question left is why would you replace the best street carb on the planet and a completely reliable and stable timing devise with inferior units.

Perhaps I was a bit abrasive in my first response. What problems are you having that you feel could be best fixed by replacing the carb and distributor and doing away with the computer?
