Door won't open from inside

The passenger side door handle on my 1989 coupe stopped operating. I can open the door from the outside handle but the inside handle acts like it is locked. I do not feel any spring tension like on the driver's side door so I am suspecting a broken clip or linkage. Can anybody please suggest a repair procedure for this and/or parts source? Thanks!!!

Here is a site to remove the inside door panel...once you are in you can locate your problem.

A realy good place for parts is on eBay.....just type in C4 in the search window and you will see hrundreds of parts for sale cheap

Thanks a lot! This is my first Corvette and I am enjoying it very much even with broken door handle!

I had mine for 2 days when the same thing happened. The little rod that attaches to the handle has come off. It's easy to fix when you get the door panel off.
