Has anyone used E3 spark pluges in a LS1 stock engine? If so what improvements have you seen?looking to pick up a little in performance. Will they help and to what amount?:w

In a good running engine, I have yet to see any spark plug change result in a practical increase in performance.

If you watch PowerBlock TV, they have run those plugs on the dyno tests and show an increase in power, torque and mileage. Take it for what it's worth.;shrug Like Hib, I'm not sure how that can be.

Speed channel did a test on them in a 400 hp engine and they gained 7 ft lbs of torque.........no hp gain......I just put in some ACDelco 41-110 Iridium plugs and the GMPP Red plug wires. I know the NGK plugs are popular also...........a lot might depend on how you use your car.

Those are the plugs and wires I used, too. :thumb

BINGO! DO NOT FALL FOR fancy wire and plug hype!! You are NOT going to gain anything if the wires and plugs that you have now are in working order.

The reason we like and use the GM Performance red wires is that the FIT and Quality are outstanding and they will last a LONG time without fail.

The reason Car manufactures use rare metals in sparkplugs is that it allows the plug to last thru the warranty and emissions warranty period without fail. There not really giving you any other advantage. A good copper plug will actually work better in a highly modded LS engines BUT,, it doesn’t last as long before it breaks down and needs changing.
