early 1984 C4 owners...Check out this custom emblem

this is what My Design is following instead of being a painted plastic hood emblem it would look like this BUT It would say L-83 (same colors)

Ok not to take away from your ride man...it's beautiful...but how can you in good conscious call a 1984 model year car that was introduced in 1953 a "30th Anniversary" car?

It just ain't so.

There is only one car known to exist that deserves to wear that emblem...and it resides in the Corvette Museum.

Now that L83 emblem has some promise...

I'm going to Ignore this comment,,(Ripping on my Vette....Just let it go

Not "rippin" on your car...it's a very fine specimen indeed, and in a LOT better shape than mine that's for darn sure!

Just tryin to understand the logic, that's all. :)

ok...it's a first edition C4 built during the last week of January 1983 ( it was ordered in May of 1982 as a 1983 C4, Well before the decision to halt production of the '83 and skip that year............thats why I consider it to be a 30th Anniversary....

1 of the first 600 C4 built before the public sale of the C4 in march of 1983

Oh and THANKS ! :thumb for the nice compliment ! ! ! !

The L-83 would look better in the 1980 style L-82,this style would be more inline with an early 80s feel.Ive got one if you want to see it.
Here is a poll question for you then...

LOTS of cars are actually built in the year prior to the actual model year of the car. I agree the early VIN is way cool...but the VIN says it's a 1984, the title says it's a 1984...just gonna have to agree to disagree on the "30th Anniversary thing".

B looks cooler as far as the font goes...as long as it can be made in different colors.

Very true Scott! So we'll have to ask Mr. VIN to cut one of those badges right down the middle. :L

It is a shame there wasn't a true 30th Anniversary Edition Corvette. That would've been a very nice piece of Corvette History to own.
