Today, I had the Vette up on the lift to check out the exhaust system and I was trying to figure out if there is a company out there that makes muffler elimination pipes that would keep my stock exhaust tips.

I searched the net with no luck, does anyone know of a company makes such pipes?

Also, there is a "Bridge" pipe between the exhaust pipes just after the cats and I was wondering if this is stock or did a previous owner install it.
If it is stock then why buy an "X" pipe, don't they both equalize pressure?

Yes, a month ago I painted the exhaust pipes and mufflers with flat black barbeque paint, looks great.

Thanks.

Keep 'em rollin' :W

X pipes are better for top end. The H pipe is better for low end torque and street use. At least thats what the late great John Lingenfelter said. They sure do market the heck out of those X pipes though. Everyone seems to have got one.
