Front Plate used?

Michelin ZP Tires

How do you like the Michelins? Are they stock? My '02 came with Goodyear ZP and I replaced them with Michelins at about 24K. Not sure which I prefer as they both have pro's and con's. For general cruising I like the Michelins, but for performance driving I think I preferred the Goodyears.

NOPE...Texas requires one, but most places let it pass unless a real "blowHole" wants to make a stop. The State Troopers will stop us but they always give a warning which they count as "community contact".

Haven't run a front plate since '96 on my Corvettes, even though MD is a two-tag state, and have only been stopped once. I do carry the front plate behind the passenger seat if I know I'll be traveling in areas densely populated by the LEOs.

I believe Minn. requires 2 plates but somewhere on their website they reveal that under some conditions only a rear one is needed.

Yes, Texas definitely requires a front license, but for years I didn’t put it on (I like the look of the Vette without it). I have been pulled over several times by State Troopers and given warnings, but never a ticket, and most cops would just flash their lights or wave. I did have a County Constable pull me over and was going to ticket me; however, he changed his mind when I showed him the new front license and said that I was getting ready to put it on. All along my wife kept telling me to put the front license on. What changed my mind was when she got pulled over and actually got a ticket for it (and she’s good looking) … jerk cop.

Anyway, I now am a proud owner of a front license (and still hear about it from my wife).

That's for sure; they are uglier than a MUD FENCE, that is why I don't use them among other reasons, I use a special plate. . . . . . sure glad I don't have to run this hidious plates, :ugh WAKE UP INDIANA!!!!!
