Shall we bring this thread back for one final time, prior to CruiseFest? Yeah....let's. ;)

Now that all my pre-trip maintenance tasks have been performed, I decided to take a good long ride out of town and put my foot into it. "Honest, officer, this really is part of the pre-trip inspection". :naughty:

Anyway, the point of this post is to casually mention that I wasn't kidding about the increase in horsepower and responsiveness after extracting the choke plate.

While driving along at 50 mph in 4th, I decided to punch it hard. When those huge rear tires break loose and the tail end goes sideways, in 4th, it's a very weird feeling. :eek Fortunately, I had another gear to shift into to settle me down a bit. :gap

Bowling Green? Oh yeah...........I'm ready.

I am definitely cocked, locked and ready to rock! :upthumbs

67HEAVEN, I am so glad that you passed your final test! :beer

SAVE THE WAVE! :w

To finish off this thread...........all the way to Bowling Green and back (approx. 1,800 miles) and no fuel stumbling of any kind.

Yahoo. :upthumbs
There was a bit of stumbling but it wasn't the cars... :D

Mark, I was telling my wife about the line you fed those rather round "ladies" in Kentucky outside the Greasy Arches when they offered to help you with your map. Not too often you see a woman who is broader than she is tall. I just wonder how they got that way with so few teeth? :ugh
