Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

GM Has Created a Killer!

Sorry to carp about this, but I think that GM should not flounder around and rediscover the sole of the Corvette, just for the hallibut.

Here's the rear end!!

Got this when the car was first pulling in on Thursday!!!

Could this be smoked fish?

Maybe it should've had a "snake" hanging out there rather than a fish. ;)

Hey Rob,
I first I thought it was a snake. That would make the Vette a real Viper eater.

I need a new look!

Anyone?

LINKS???
Links of what?

Yeah we saw that one, and i couldnt bring myself to take a pic of it.. We were laughing way to hard.. Great idea for a gag.. Now is that what Fishtailing means ? ;LOL

Laughing? A gag?

If its custom...

Thats a hell of alot of work to go through for a gag.

Looks way more aggressive than the stock fascia if you ask me.

But no one did... So I'll be on my way.

Does anyone have any links for crazy aftermarket stuff like that?

I'm really not too keen on the front view of the C4... I want a more aggressive look.

I've seen a couple - the stalker and somethin else (forgot what they called it) - but nothin that really grabbed my attention.

Imagine seeing that pull up behind you at a stoplight... fish and all.

Rob... I'm looking for links for aftermarket parts... ie... Bumper covers/fascias. Sorry... I thought that was clear.

Is it a no-no to post links for other sites here? Is that considered advertising?

As far as my comment about the site... It seems like most of the people that post here are are just posting to see themselves post.

Not everyone... but most.

Not that that's any different than any other site that I've encountered. It seems to be like this at every Corvette oriented site that I visit. A bit more interaction would be nice.

Just my impression.

No offense bro. Compared to other sites this one rates pretty high... But that aint saying much. You're one of a handful of helpful folks on this site (But you run it for God's sake!). Being helpful is obviously a personality trait.

Dont get me wrong. I've learned a couple of things and picked up a bit of new info here... But only by digging through the archives.

I probably should have kept my thoughts to myself...

But I was pretty ripped when I posted that (:drink = :crazy)

I wont visit drunk anymore.

Sorry...
I apologize for my belligerence.

You're more than welcome to post links in the forums.

If you're looking for links to aftermarket companies, click on the Portal tab at the top of this page and go to Parts and Accessories.

In my opinion, I don't agree with your assessment of people posting here just to see themselves post. There are a couple other forum related web sites where that kind of activity is quite prevalent, but for the most part, I don't see it here.

Remember one thing: this is an online community. An online Corvette club. Like any other Corvette club, there are people that talk nothing but Corvettes, and there are people that own the car and enjoy it, but prefer to share in the comraderie that exists because of the car and don't care to really get involved with car-related issues and discussions..

Lat but not least, no offense taken. Thanks for sharing your observations.

Thats a picture for shark bites in Corvette Fever Mag, even if it's a C5 and not a C3.

Well since you've insulted "not everyone, but most" folks here, I'd say you'd have to "go fish" for your links:bu you're gonna need better bait :J
