Has anyone ever used this product before? Its a waterless car wash product. I tried it on my 1998 Ranger that I did wash first. It restored my black paint back to like new condition. The black paint had become oxidized due to the weather here in Illinois. I always waxed this vehicle, but it the Ford Black paint looked weathered and dull all the time. I liked this product so much that I ordered some off the web. Its easy on, and easy off, and the results were great. Let me know if anyone has tried such a product? Just curious.

have used since 1994 - on my 1993, on my 1999, and now on my 1963 Z06 and 2001 Z06 - all of which have been black cars

Thats all I use on any of my old cars. I don't like having water run onto parts like inside the bumpers, around headlights, etc. where you can't dry it. The only time any car sees water on it now is if I get caught in the rain! I love Dri-Wash. You don't have to wax anymore, either.

I just ordered the product from Del Bunce at the 1-800 number listed on the web site. Del's company is one of the largest distributors.

They have distributors all over the US but the two numbers listed for Jacksonville would not even ring.

So I called the 800 number and Del was indeed very helpful and friendly. I am looking forward to getting the package in 3-5 days.

I used to use it all the time, but haven't in a few years. It used to make me wonder, isn't all the dirty, on your surface, that your normally rinsing off, being used as sand paper? I know your not supposed to use Dri-Wash on a FILTHY car, but still the same, how bout a car with salt residue all over it, would you really want to grind that into a perfect paint job??

thats always been my thoughts.Thats why Ive never tried it.

Thanks for all the replies on this product. They say you can use it on dirty surfaces. I would tend not to use it on an all covered salty vehicle, no matter what they say. I will continue to wash my vehicle when it gets super dirty((98 Ranger). On my 88 Vette, I put a coat on. It looks real nice. The paint on the Vette was very shiny to begin with, so its hard to notice a big difference. But on the Ranger, my results were fantastic. Does anyone know how long this product is supposed to last on the surface before doing it again? Thanks again everybody for your responses.

Thanks for the link. I wonder if Detailing Dude is familiar with this product. It scares me to think what I could be doing to the painted surfaces of my Vette.

I'd have the same concern ref not rinsing away the grit with water....it really doesn't take that much water to wash/rinse a car
I discovered that last summer when we had the water restrictions....just pulled the car into my garage out of the sun and site of neighbors, and wet it down with a garden pump sprayer - (2.5 gallon size)...washed, and rinsed....that was plenty enough.

That's just it, for the water/work you are SAVING, to me, it's not worth taking the chance. If you don't have a water ban/problem, why use a waterless wash solution?? No matter what the company claims about this, applying this to a dirty car and wiping could NOT be good for the finish... I'll pass, unless the car's been sitting inside, with a cover, for a month.. Then again, there's Zaino Z6 for that :)

I just went to their site to see what this is all about.
I have to say, the way they are pitching this stuff gives me the feeling of a snakeoil salesman.

Is there anything this stuff can't do !

Does it make julian fries :D
