There is another 6-10 inches of snow coming tonight up here in Maine. She has been put away since the first week of November but the roads were dry and I had the itch. Took it slow over the frost heaves until I got to the highway and let her run! She is back in bed now. No worse for wear. I might be able to last now until April. :ohnoes

Glad you were able to get some temporary relief. :upthumbs

Nice looking '84 too! Tell us more about it.

Thanks for the compliment. The wet driveway pic was actually from last year. I'd never drive her if it was that wet out. The car is all stock except for the Crenshaw Classic Rims and the spoiler. Interior is Carmine red and she is in excellent shape with 39,800 original miles. I'm the second owner. She may not be the fastest car on the road but on these windy, hilly, roads up here in Maine it is a blast. And yes, this car climbed Mt. Washington! I don't recommend anyone else try that in a Vette. I panicked the whole way up and down because you are hugging the rocks or the edge of the mountain most of the time. Here are a few more pics including some from the summit from 3 years ago.

Awesome photo! Thx for sharing the pix!! I'll have to save that one to my Corvette file. :)

BTW - you're from the same neck of the woods as members Remo and vett boy. That's okay... we won't hold it against you. ;)

It's tough when ya put 'em away in Nov and they don't see light till may.5-6 mons. is to long.
When we get a rare break like it has been ,ya go for it.

Although I'm sure the Dragon could blow the snow out of the vents, lets hope by May it will have melted!!

Ummm, I think that's why we buy these cars... Not sure, but.........

BTW, excellent taste in colors. I've always liked those wheels and hardly ever see them.:beer

You have the weather issue, but you could always get into the mod biz and see it look like this pic... for three years.

Awesome color, that carmine interior. :w

Ya know it's funny, last couple of Saturdays were sunny and quite mild for this time of year. They were great vette days! Out about was I also. Rarely does this happen around now with the weather and all. I'm good for a while if the weather tends to get a little testy. :beer

Sunday was also nice here in the Northwest. Could'nt resist a short cruise. Lots of others had the same idea. I saw 3 vettes, 2- 2006 and 1- 2007, all tree returned my waves. Also a 71 cuda, and a old impala maybe 63. Still grining this am. Mark

Aren't you glad you don't permanently store it for the winter: up on jackstands, fluids drained, battery removed, etc.

And if the snow you're expecting is from the same storm that passed through the NYC metro area last night maybe you'll luck out like we did; 5 - 8 inches predicted. What we got was a good soaking rain followed by, maybe 1/4" of snow.

Just got home from work at 2:30 and the storm is about half over and has already put 8 inches on the ground. Looks like I'll have to ski and snow mobile for fun until Vette and boat weather returns! Now what if I put ski's on the front and treads on the rear and then just maybe..........hmmm?

I am the same way. If it's nice out. the Vette goes out. Most people around here share the same philosophy, because whenever I am out I see at least a half dozen or more Vettes. It's only a car, ENJOY IT!!!!

Well if ya only got 8 inches ,then some of it blew into my yard. Please come and get it asap .My wife will shovel it up into a pile for ya.:D

8 inches was at 2:30. It is now almost 9pm and we have 16 but the flakes are getting smaller and lighter. Must almost be over. Luckily the snow is light and fluffy. Snow blower is 9hp (dyno tested!) but with a new cam and some nitro, my ET's down the driveway should be sweet!

I took my 69 up Mount Washinton :ohnoes it really was hair raising worse for me on the way up could not see the side of the road but made it ok will have to see if i can find the pics Steve

Hey 1984C4 ....

Slightly off topic but I really like those wheels on your Vette .... whats the tire combo and rim specs .... they look classy !

I am feeling the same pain her in Denver. My '96 has been "resting" on my lift since mid November. The weather was nice enough last week that I lowered her down an gave her some exercise last Sunday. Dang that felt good! I also took the opportunity to give my wife's BMW Z4 a little exercise the next day. It has been sitting under the LT4 for the same timeframe. Nice to get the toys out of hibernation!

I agree on the comments on the wheels . . . pretty cool!
