I believe that I have narrowed my future vette down to the following;
1992 or newer
$10,000. is price ceiling.
100,000 miles max
Engine: LT1
Transmission: Automatic
I want to purchase a book about C4 vettes. I want the book to talk about car mods, improvements, helpful hints, types of engines, accessories, etc..
Is their a book out there that I can buy from the book store. I want to be well educated before I purchase my car.

Can anyone suggest a good book?

Why, the CAC of course, your on-line info center!

I like the Corvette Specs 1984 to 1996 by Antonick. It has a cool mix of specs & the story of the c4. Available all the catalog companies & probably online.

This book is not just on C4's but gives a great history of the vette...it is "Corvette's from the Inside Out" by Dave McClellan...it is a great book that I use as a reference for all sorts of information...it starts in the beginning and goes through 2002...you won't regret owning this book...

You might consider the Corvette Black Book too, its has detailed info about every year, it doesnt suggest ways to improve your engine but it lists the stock improvements GM made each year... it also has other stats
