Here's the info.

2004 Vette coupe
black/dark interior
ALL options including:
- roof package
- heads up display
- power memory seat(s)
- power telescoping steering wheel
- 12 disc changer
salesperson said it has ALL available options, besides the obvious Z06 options ;)

Sticker is $50,210. They are asking $40,210. That's with a $4000 GM previous GM cusomter appreciation rebate AND a dealer $6000 rebate. They did say they are trying to move this as they are making room for the C6.

I'm calling the bank in the morning to get financing arranged....fingers crossed. hehe

Just gotta sell my TA WS6 now...as I'm sure the dealer won't give me anywhere near what it's worth. :eyerole

So, any thoughts from anyone?

I think I want to marry you.....just a thought :-)

There's always a better or worse deal story....if you can afford it, buy it and live the dream only few get to experience.

Sounds Great - Lots of deals will be out there this summer on 2004 models.
Ads I see this week still offer a blanket 9 grand $ off or a special % rate.

Keep us posted!

Take it

Dealerships don't own the cars they have on the lot, they finance them. If a car stays more than 120 days they have to pay interest on it, and it's not financially advantageous. Therefore, if the car's been there for a while they'll sell it at cost just to get rid of it, and you can use that against them. That's how I got my '95, I only paid 20K for it way back in '97, because noone in Florida wanted a white 'vette. Now it's a 10 second drag car in Hawaii ;) . Be careful with that T/A, though, they'll try to screw you on it's value. Take a NADY book with you.

Good luck,

Dan

Hi Cheri!

That sounds like a pretty good deal on the '04.... To sell your WS6 - you may want to post on this site - http://www.fbodycentral.com/forum/ in thier member classified (it is free to join - it is a forum of f body fanatics). The shop is located in Maryland, so there are people from all over the east cost looking at it.. and besides it is free.

Could also place an ad with pic on cars.com and autotraderonline.com

Good Luck!

PS - YOurs isn't the nice white WS6 with VA tags is it?

I'm actually already a member of EFA ;) Put it on there last night just to gauge interest.

Mine is black on black. VA plate is WEBGYRL. Appropriate, eh? lol.

I'll have to find out how long they've had that car. First I need to test drive the thing! I've been wanting a Vette for years...and I've not even driven one yet. Can't fathom why I wouldn't LOVE it, but still. Gotta get pre-approval before they'll let me drive. :eyerole

If they ever start allowing one to have multiple husbands, I'll keep that marriage offer in mind ;)

I don't know if it's the car or the dealer, but they are only offer 4.X% financing..no 0.00 or anything.

I am not terribly keen on going back into $25k+ in debt, but this car could not be any better if I'd custom ordered it. It's everything I want...and at a deal that is hard to pass up. I keep swinging wildly between YES, get it and no..keep my car. Wish I could afford to have both!

Z06! Z06!

I would like for you to not only test drive the car you are considering, but please by all means test drive a Z06!!!!!! There is a difference.

You mentioned you considered the Z06, don't make the mistake of not at least test driving it and then regretting it later driving one at your local cruise in.

You probably wouldn't regret getting any vette, but trust me on this one. Drive the Z06. I wanted a convertible and ended up with the Z06 because of my test drive!!!!! Good luck!
