intake color

Need help with the color of intake manifold on a 78 L82 , thanks for any information Mytoy

i am pretty sure it's blue.

I believe it is blue also......General Motors blue.....not Chevrolet blue, there is a difference as the Chevrolet blue is a lighter blue in color.

But weren't the L82's unpainted aluminum. I thought the L48's were painted cast iron. - im probably wrong.

My 78 L82 intake is unpainted aluminum. It is still original.

78 L82 aluminum intake manifold is also PAINTED with a dull aluminum paint. NCRS judging manual also states it's aluminum and painted aluminum color.

only the 78 L48 is blue to match the rest of the block, L82 is aluminum.
