L-88 long style hood sources

Well, I sent them emails through ebay as well as to the email address she has listed in the ebay ad for the hood and got no response ... they don't answer the phone number they have listed either. I am going to order a Vanacors or ACI hood next week for my car. Yes this is a costly setback but not going to let it hinder my project, just going to be smarter and order from reputable businesses now is all .... Should have done this in the beginning.

While "curby" might have had a good transaction with them I sure didn't .... Oh well, live and learn right! I paid with a money order so doubt I will ever see that money again.

send them a link to this thread and whatever you do don't wait more then 59 days to file a dispute with Ebay. Check if they have any active listings and post a question in that listing asking about your missing hood. :thumb

Is the 59 days from the time the auction ended or the time they received payment?

I would go ahead and file a dispute. Don't wait any longer.

I think I would just call them and see whassup. It could be en route. Fingers crossed!

If it was enroute they would have emailed me or something. It was to be picked up at a carriers terminal is what I had planned with them. Kind of hard to call and say whats up when they won't answer there phone.

Like her ebay ad says though oil tanks are where its at after all this is oklahoma ..... Guess that explains it all ..... I did notice when I did the buy it now there were 4 hoods available. when it ended it showed only 2 available. So did someone else out there get reamed too ??????

Like I say though, my car isn't even close to being ready but wanted the hood cause it was a good deal and thats why 30 days didn't bother me. Had they at least emailed me and said sorry your hood will be delayed for a few extra weeks I would have been okay with it. But the ebay window to file a dispute is only slightly longer then the period I have waited so far. Or they figured since I didn't contact them whatsoever over the 30 day period they figured they could just let it slide longer.

It's not my job to track them down to see what is up with my hood. They had a 30 day grace period to have it delivered and failed.

Here is the order details that came on my ebay account. They have my shipping info, phone number etc. ...... My company hauls stuff to saia freight so I know they use tracking numbers and tag bills. If my hood was shipped they would have provided this information. hahaha would have been nice could have dropped my loaded trailer there and grabbed a empty trailer and grabbed my hood at the same time.

Congratulations, Jeff xxxxxxxxx, for your purchase of your New Fiberglass 1982 Corvette L88 Hood.
Payment is required within 5 days of auction end. As stated in the listing, it will be up to 4 weeks before the hood is delivered.
It will be delivered on SAIA Freight Lines. If you hit the Pay Now button, you still have the option of sending your money order,
so don't be afraid to click on it. All of the contact info is on the invoice here for your records. Thank you so much for your business!

in case you were wondering. No I never got the hood but did open another thread in the off road lounge about this. kinda wanted to leave this thread for what it is titled as.
