Question: Low Fuel Warning Light

I pulled my center console out and discovered that my Low Fuel bulb socket was missing. After purchasing a replacement socket, replacing all the bulbs and printed circuit, I discovered that the Low Fuel light stays on all the time. The gas gage works just fine. Any idea of what the problem might be? If I can't figure it out, I'll end up doing what the previous owner did and just leave the bulb out. Especially since the fuel gage works properly.

Thanks.

Somewhere in the circuit, its grounded, causing the lite to be on....

You put in a normal socket but the low fuel light needs a special one. It has his own circuit behind the socket. As they are nowhere to be found you can also look for a kirban performance replacement, that also fits behind a C3 console with a few mods. :)

Greetings Peter

Thanks Peter. Seems like a lot to place behind the console. Earlier you referred to some mods that needed to be made. Can you provide more details? I'm trying to determine if it's one I want to tackle right now.

Thanks again.
