HI

I have a 2002 coupe blackwing, 160 degree therm, Z06 Ti exhaust and street tuned.

I was advised that l should switch my manifold to a LS7.

Any thoughts, l do not track it and l really don't want to spend too much until l decide l'm going to keep it. Right now l'm approaching 20,000 miles
and if the economy picks up l would like to move up to a C6 if possible.

By the way what else would l have to change besides the manifold?

Thanks

Alan

The LS7 intake manifold will not fit an LS1 engine.

You can gain about 5-hp if you install the LS6 intake on a LS1 from MY00 or earlier.

Hi

There is a kit that will allow the LS7 to work. But to add 5hp on my 02 is not worth the $ for sure.

I was going to say, 2001 and up LS1's have the LS6 manifold, which I believe, is pretty efficient.

Please advise the source of the kit which allows one to fit an LS7 intake manifold to an LS1.
