Magnetic Ride Control

I seem to recall or seen somewhere that the shock absorbers used with this system have a lifetime warranty. Can anyone confirm this or have info as to where I can find the answer. Thanks

HI there,

No, there has never been warranty like that on any factory equipped shock absorber, magnetic ride control or not.

HOWEVER, if you purchase GM shock absorbers at a dealer installed at a GM service dealership, they ARE covered under certified service warranty for life.

I couldn't hardly believe that there would be such a warranty, but did respond because I didn't know for sure. Even though they F55 is very advanced, all shocks will eventually wear out.

Thank you, Paul, for clearing that up for us. Deputydaug, I'm sorry that isn't the case, because I'm assuming you are having problems and needing service. I hope that you can get it resolved for a fair price.
