I understand a legitimate racing heritage can raise the value of a vehicle but since when does that include street racers? Okay, it's an L88 and therefore rare but, to my consideration, the whole "Bounty Hunter" thing is a distraction.

Yeah, I totally agree with ya!

The name Bounty Hunter has been used since the late 60s, early 70 s by the Kalitta family, first in funny car, and top fuel too. I though Connie used it first, but maybe not.
 
Does the '68 Bounty Hunter still have its original "born with" motor??? Or a replacement??? I believe it still has its original transmission. Thanks BK3
