I too get fed up with everybody and their brother (or sister) who sees a Corvette and either has to prove something to themselves or just wants to be a PITA and thumb their noses and pass me. I just tell myself that they just wish they owned a 'vette.

It's been a fact since the '96 came home a few years ago that it brings out bad behavior in some fellow motorists. I drive safely aggressive. Not like the woman in the Discovery just a few days ago, since the meth-head in the Neon.

I pulled out into a 4 lane and kicked it to the 45 limit. This b**** was doing 60 and made a big deal out of having to pull left...but there were cars in front so she had to apply brakes God forbid. She cut me off so bad if I hadn't braked and given her room she would have taken the nose with her. I can't believe someone would sacrifice 2 automobiles to prove a point..

I boiled over, puilled next to her and cussed her up and down, but she was on her cell and ignored me. I had to calm down or the Gerber was fixin' to unbalance her left rear tire. Too many witnesses to the stabbing.

It's my own fault for driving a beautiful red Corvette. Bring it on!

I agree with everything in this thread. I didn't buy my Vette to race but all these SUBs (Spoiled Urban Brats) want to race me.

The last thing I want on my conscience is to have one of these punks lose control and kill themselves or someone else.

My county's only dragway just closed after 45 years of providing a legal and safe place to show off what ones car has. I only hope the parents of these Subs don't loose one of their precious because the dragway is gone.

These selfish corporate climbing imbicles built their Mansions to close to the dragway and then complained so much about the noise that they forced the family who owned it to "Retire"!!!!

We will miss 75-80 Dragway and Bill Wilcom and family!!!

i agree with you all guys!
these guys in there jap crap sports cars and there holden commodores(pontiac gtos) they can never compete what so ever with such class,sporty,sexy,tuff corvettes!
they get so pethetic at times ,i just laugh at them,hahahahha!
some times when they try to sit on my ass or show off in front of there girlfriends ,especailly when there girlfrineds/wife is looking at the corvette i ijust clap my hands at the guys to make them look like fools!

Seems like every time i take one of vettes out for a cruse the jap beer cans come out. It has gotten to the point i don't even waste my gas on such puny excuses for sports cars. I actually had a guy one day trying to take on the Z with his Miata. I guess he thought that since it had the BIG fart can hung on it that it was fast. After some intense fart canning he took off from the stop light and I just sat there shaking my head laughing at him. I think that made him mad cause at the next light he tried really hard to get the tires to spin.

Makes it even more joyful to watch them get really mad with their GFs/wifes for looking at a real car. When my wife is with me she is busy waving bye-bye at them.

Hate to hear that. Steve and i use to go watch some of the races. Kind-a fun to watch the kids who take dad's Volvo or SAAB to the track and end up screwing it up:L

OMG!!! I think that same whack job cut me off here in Ms.!!! Him and the bonehead in the 67 Ford Galaxy station wagon!!! Lawd, although it rankled me, I had to smile at the stupidity of it.
