My overdrive works fine up to a point...
There are two electrical connections, one is a black plug in the front and the other a gray 2-wire male plug at the very back of the OD unit above the linkage. When the transmission heats up this gray plug looses contact and the unit shifts out of OD. The light on the dash remains lit and will go off and on when you push the button in the shift knob, but the unit will not go back into OD. It does not fit well, it's shot. I am the original owner of this car so I know that no one has messed with anything on it.
Does anyone know where I could find one of these gray 2-wire male plugs? GM does not offer them anymore, unless you want to buy a full electrical harness that is.
Thanks!
