Hey guys, I just had a new waterpump put on last week and while I was out detailing the motor today I noticed that one of the lines on my aux oil pump is rubbing my waterpump pulley. How do I fix that? The pump is attached to the tensioner so I can't see how to move it away from the pulley. It has slightly rubbed the edge off the pulley.

I'm not at home at the moment to check the setup on mine, however, I think that those lines are on swivel radius connectors, are they not? When I get home I'll check into it further.

You did retain the original Callaway pulley right?

yes the original callaway pulley is on there-blue anodized. There is a bolt on the front side of the pump, I think that might be used for adjustment.

Im going to take the car back to the shop, I think its their fault so Im going to ask for a new pulley from Callaway.

problem solved

They put a new belt on and it was too long. Put on a shorter belt and Im good to go.

I got the ol " it was already rubbed before you brought it to us..."

So my guess is no...but we'll see. Im gonna call Callaway and get a price on a new one.

Oddly enough I was looking at a box of those pulleys last week. In fact, I had one in my grubby little hand.

Ya should of bought me one for my upcoming Bday :L :L :L
