New to Forum & interested in 84 Corvette built in 83

I am looking at buying a 84 corvette with a build plate of Feb 83.
It has been repainted & has a body kit fitted. It was originally white.
Is it worth putting it back to original including re-painting it white or shall I just drive it for fun?

Thanks for the information, definitely the plan is to use the car on weekends & a backup for when I cannot ride my motorbike to work etc.
