You wont believe it, I was sandwiched between the gaurd rail and a dodge 3/4 ton pick up. I was traveling in the breakdown lane {permitted at the time} and he was in the middle, lane his truck was lifted about 6 inches with monster tires. Yes i was driving her in the crappy weather which i never do, it was one of those crazy things she was already a tad dirty waiting for her next bath, so I took her for a quick spin. Oh the prices we pay for stupid choices. My 01 supercharged vette was practicaly showroom cond. w/ 18000 miles is scarred pretty badly down 1 side, with a broken mirror, the gaurd rail side to my surprise, has only one fairly deep scrape above the right rear tire and minor rim damage. He said "I could not see you, your car is so low, Im so sorry". Can anyone suggest a really good place around the southshore area that is well known for there paint jobs and or bodywork. Thanks for listening and possibly for your help. P.S if the car has a groove in tha fiberglass, how do they repair? refiberglass? or new panel? Thanks again.

My C5 got backed into by a 3/4 ton 4x4 truck last summer. Had a new driver's rear 1/4 panel and fascia installed during it's repair. After a few trips back to have some paint blended, she looks like new.

I'm sure your's will look like new soon! :upthumbs

Later . . . . . .
6 Shooter

Ouch, I am sorry to hear of your misfortune :(
I am glad it wasn't worse.

Sorry to hear about your accident but glad to hear you're okay and your Corvette is not damaged worse than it is. Hopefully you'll have her fixed up as good as new soon.

Yikes, well at least you have another Corvette to drive while you're getting repairs.

I asked the Chevy dealer who sold me my vette to recommend someone. I'm very happy with my recent repairs.

That sucks!

Who did your blower work? Dyno #'s?

Mass. Dealer

Never had a Vette worked on there, but the big dealer I saw when visiting the North Shore was Hillcrest, in Salem, I think. They were real courteous to me when I had the wife's Eldo serviced there last summer, and when I was looking at Vettes with my daughter, they were really helpful, and gave me some complimentary stuff as well.

that really sucks. i got lucky.... not really lucky but my girlfriend backed into my 99 coupe with her 05 tacoma. i was a little ****ed. she came in from work and asked how much i loved her. i said a lot being 10:30 p.m. and i have to wake up for work around 4:20 a.m. so $600 later she's all good

I am not so sure I wouldn't need some therapy afterwards :L

Take your car here.

They restore older corvettes, but I've also seen newer cars in there for work as well. They do nothing but corvettes, and they're the only people I let touch my car. Good luck, and let me know how everything works out for you (Really sorry to read about what happened to you!). -John

Good luck I am sure it will work out fine. I know it takes someone that knows what their doing to work on fiberglass, but the ones that do work miricles.

My wifes barnd new Mustang was rear ended with only 600 on the clock. Took it to Phaze II Autobody in Westford. Jim, the owner did a spectacular job! If my vette gets crunched I am taking it to him!!!
