My wife says our house would burn for days with all the magazines and books we (read: I) have about cars - I am going through all the magazines and deciding what to keep & what to toss...
The keepers, I will sort by month...
And if that isn't bad enough, I got a box (more like a crate) this past Summer to review

Here is a small sample of what I "borrowed" from another enthusiast - Great Reading while I have the flu

23 back issues of Vette alone :eek - ALL w/ Callaway Corvette articles :cool

...here is round two of the Callaway Corvette Magazine collection :eek

There certainly is a lot written on the subject :crazy

Anyways, my goal is to still sift & sort it all and store in a logical manner - My wife was not exactly thrilled however with the project... It takes up some space for sure! :ugh

BTW, I just moved my desktop computer - complete w/ the desk underneath it - That should buy some time

The *sorting* project has grown a bit larger than anticipated

Luigi, Hopefully she won't have too many plans for the extra space however, there has been a general contractor working on a few remodel projects for the past week or so - Done by the summer was what I overheard... :eek
Something about the kitchen being re-done, amongst other things...

Wonder if she remembers the (front) porch still... :confused

...in the mail today

...in the mail today came a box full of old magazines - shipping was more than the cost of the Corvette relics - inside, I found some titles I had never seen in my life :eek

Every issue of "Keepin Track" from 1978 through 1991 was included :cool


Amazing, some of the old stuff and who it was written by!!!

I'll be in my easy chair for awhile reading!

Done w/ the first 8 boxes of magazines, I have about 300 titles w/ Callaway related areticles JUST on the Corvettes. Maybe another 30, on the C8, C7, C9, etc.

I will proabably catalog them all in storage boxes / sleeves and then sort the duplicates - This project gets BIGGER all the time...

After 8 mos, now all I need to do is organize the rest of the literature :cool

Rick, I literally have boxes, upon boxes of Corvette magazines in the basement - the place would burn for days...


All the above, are specifically related to the Callaway Cars - just when I thought I was done, I found another in a cabinet and got the new issue of www.corvetteenthusiast.com in the mail today :eek

...I think this may be the neverending project :crazy
