Paint a C4

Hey just a bit of a review:

I bought the Eckler's 'How to paint your Corvette' video. It was OK. They used lacquer (isch) and had a lot of stuff that may seem relevant for the vintage vette they did but didn't really pertain to my 87. So I saw an excerpt from Paintucation (they paint like an 88 C4) and I ordered it. The video is much more application oriented. I suggest if if you plan on painting your vette. There is an entire series and a Q/A supported by the actual painter. Good stuff.

I am very inexperienced when it comes to serious body work. I would love to paint my car (and am willing to do some serious work), but, again, I have no knowledge/experience regarding paint/body work. Can I do it with these videos alone and a little $$$?
