I bought a polo green 1996 LT4 last August. Finish looked great, car was garaged by the previous owner ( I leave it in the drive). A month ago the paint started blistering in three locations (front nose past the hood, passenger side near the rear wheel well and the driver's side right rear) and is now peeling off in sheets! I now have about 10 square inches of what appears to be exposed graphite epoxy composite (black). It looks awful. Does anyone know if this is a manufacturing defect? When I inspected the car, there was no obvious evidence of having been repainted (masking lines, orange peel, overspray, etc). Obviously the car must be repaired/repainted. Is there a reliable and cost effective source in the Orlando, Florida area that anyone has experience with and can recommend? Any help would be appreciated.

Hey welcome to the forum.Ive never heard of this being a factory recall or anything. It sounds like its just another poor repair job.I dont know of anyone in the orlando area but Im sure someone on here does.Check the repair shops on this site ,maybe theres one there.
