In the process of replacing the clutch, my mechanic identified the intermittent but infrequent mystery rattle I though was either clutch or flywheel rattle.
It turns out that when the Wonderbar was installed, the clamp which holds the drivers side turbo feed tube was installed with the fastener on top of the tube allowing it to rub against one of the pulleys if there is any chasis flex (like going over a speed bump). Actually part of the clamp fastener bolt has a gash in it from rubbing against a pulley over time.
Unfortunately, there is no room to get in there without major disassemblage
Stan or David, any recommendations as to the easiest way to replace this farging clamp?? ;help
