This may be a stupid question but could someone tell me where the fuel filter is located on a 93 vette. Thanks!!!

I believe it's on the frame rail which side I don't know ( just a guess on the passenger side) metal can about 4" long and about 4" in Dia.

Furthermore, I've looked everywhere and I can't find the one on my 86:(

follow the passenger frame rail from the back to the front of the car. Just behind and towards the motor of the right front wheel well there is a metal heat shield. It should take a couple of 10 mm bolts to drop that down. You will see the fuel filter there. It is more or less under the a/c box on the frame rail passenger side behind the right front tire.

I don't know if it has a little pressure but it it does becareful. gas in the eyes not good:eek

69MyWay, my 86 doesn't have a shield around the filter (and service manual doesn't mention one). It's where you said, though...

I found I had to jack the car up to replace it. It was fine working by feel to take it off, but things wouldn't line up right going back.

Looking over your profile, I see you are in TN! Where abouts? I used to live outside of Ft. Campbell KY in Clarksville.
