My 2000 Targa has the classic roof rattle at the top of the windshield. I have adjusted the strikers all the way down, to the lowest that the 10mm bolts will allow and it's rattling like a son of a gun every time you hit a stiff bump.
Has anybody put a strip of rubber on the strikers or the wing latch piece that contacts the striker or whatever that may cure this problem? Is it the weather strip that has gotten too compressed with time and pressure? It's really a bad rattle.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
