Welcome Andre' from France as a Callway and Corvette nut.

I met Andre' as I was mining for images of Callaway's. He was at Le Mans in 1994, 95 and 96 and took pics of the LM. Some of his images are the ones you will comonly see on the net. He is a Corvette racer in France and is a master model maker. Here is one of his incredible models...This one is 1/43rd (very small)

That model looks tough as nails! I dub ye Bone Crusher! :L

Santa's Mini Callaway Workshop has been in full swing..

I have been busy for a few weeks on some interesting stuff...First of all, I have dusted off a decade old project. I started this C7R in 1997 and roughed the carbon fiber tub, rear suspension and a clear-vacuform (all though rough) body...Second, today I got the stripes and interior color on Big John's LM...slow but good! Lastly, I am almost ready to mold the first C16 body. It will be a rough buck for future molding...but you knew it would not take long...keep ya posted form the mini-North Callaway pole. Never mind that really it is south in TX...details. details...

I have a question for you Critt. Do you use Clearcoat paint on top of the paint? If so, do you suggest it for models?

Yup, Most of the colors are 2-stage automotive..Dupont..

Things you can do when iced in for 3 days....

Amazing work as always! I really like how they are coming along. Did you leave those difficult fins on the frontend of the C16 off so they wouldn't break off in the molding process? I'd be interested in hearing your technique on adding those. That's probably the most frustrating problem I encountered when sculpting my C8 model.

Here is the latest on the C16 1/18th model...

The mirrors, marker lights, front fin is added and the new wheels mounted.

The wheels are not exact, but it is as close as I could get...
