Just wondering if anyone could help me with an electrical glitch the old 81 has?

The Fasten Seat Belt light comes on when the ignition is first turned on and stays lit for a few seconds after the engine is started. This is normal I know, but sometimes while driving the light can be seen glowing slightly, sort of pulsing. You can only really see it at night.

I am just wondering where to look to find the problem.
I also have dull dash lights, any tips here?

Thanks in advance,

the light won't come on unless it gets ground, get a copy of the wiring diagram and trace each wire involved in the seatbelts, find where it's grounding and you solved your problem.
as far as the dash bulbs go,the contacts get cruddy, take out the bulbs, clean them and the sockets, i got all but two working on the 75, they were burned out so i replaced them.mike

She has had a right hand drive conversion, maybe one of the joins in the wiring has exposed wire. They extend the wiring with the RHD conversion.
