Hi all, I'm new to this forum and have a problem with my 07 Z. the car has bolt on's only, KOOKs headers with cats, stock mufflers, BREMBO 14" gt brakes with SS brake lines, PHADT coil-overs and street sway bars, NITTO INVO's 275/35X18 and 345/30X19's on stock rims.. After putting on the brakes and new tires i started getting the "service active handling" in the DIC with the icon on gauge... However it does not throw a code..reader shows no codes. i can clear the DIC message and after several starting cycles it is fine then after a time it starts again.. No adverse effect on performance at all...NO CODE?

thanks, EJ:ohnoes

Hopefully you have an "understanding" dealer. Have the dealership fix the steering column wiring harness. That is the culprit usually. Active handling is no problem...until it has a mind of it's own...:W

Active Handling Light

Had the same problem, but car is all stock. Took it back to the dealer and he fixed the wiring harness under warrantee and all has been well for about a month. They may give you some grief if not all stock.

HI there,
The stainless steel brake lines are probably causing 'ghost' ABS signals and setting the light.
This was a problem on some c5 and c6.
Insulating and grounding the lines sometimes repairs this, prior to removing the lines completely.
