I have the Haynes and the GM Service Manuals. Both are pretty good but the GM manuals have a little more detail especially the electronics manual. They give you step by step procedures for checking out problems which can be very helpful.
I found the GM manuals on Ebay for about $30 bucks. That's a savings of about $100 bucks. It was not in prestine shape but it was complete and very usable.
