Should I Gelcoat?

like john i have gelcoated older vettes with a lot of damage . in the late 60's it was your only choice other than featherfill . it is truly a pia to do. very time consuming. on the latest one i chose to do it a little different. after all the repairs i used only spi epoxy to resurface with. the results were a job that had 0 shrinkage or die back . i stopped using urethane primers years ago . by changing my system i now only use 3 products on a car. spi epoxy, ppg ss color, spi universal clear. it has worked very well and will be my system of choice from now on. hope this helps .

porch dog, are you saying you do all your finish blocking with SPI Epoxy?
