Anyone using a OBD1 Bluetooth scanner for a smartphone? If so, which one? I have an OBD2 scanner for other vehicles but not for the 93 vette. Thanks!

I never could find an app to use the blue tooth, I finally bought a USB cable and downloaded a program on my laptop. That worked quite well. Can't remember what program it was, think I found the link on this forum but been a few yrs ago.

My guess is there are no smart phone apps which will connect to an OBD (81-95) system. One of the problems with the OBD systems was the multitude of communications protocols GM used between 1981 and 1995. It wold be a nighmare to try and write an app that supported all of them.

With OBD2, the communications protocols were standardized by law and that made is much easier for developers to write apps.

Even then, most smart phone apps OBD2 apps only look at the generic OBD2 parameters and not the so-called "GM enhanced" OBD2 data stream.
