I changed the plugs on my LT 4 and it took just under 2 hours. I received a lot of information from various persons and thought I would pass along these tips.
1) Most important if to remove the back of the inner fender...10 mm bolts along with the torx screws in the fender. Once off very easy to get to all plugs. This is the only way to go.
2) If you don't have a pair of sparkplug wire pullers get a set, cost about 10.00 and worth every penny. Don't even try to pull off by hand. If you break a wire bad news.
3) On the # 2 plug use a small universal going in though the fender opening. #4 plug is a stright shot again from the fender. #6 plug the smallest extention you have and go just below the rocker cover. # 8 plug same as you used on the #6, this will conclude the passengers side which is the more difficult of the two. Driver side I spent more time removing the fender than actually changing the plugs.
4) #1 plug again thought the fender opening below the a/c compressor, very easy, # 3 stright on, #5 stright on and #7 stright on . Look at the angle of the plug when you take them out and only do one at a time.
5) ALUMINUM HEADS so this part is important. When replacing the plugs put anti-seize on the plug. 3/!6 hose will be the only safe way to put the plugs in without worring about crossthreading. Use the hose on the end of the plug and start it by hand. If it doesn't go in easy than restart the plug. You should be able to get about 90 % of the plug in by hand and final tighten by socket to the correct torque. When it gets most of the way in the hose will turn on the plug. Again not to tight. Good luck

Okay, how long will it take for the wires?:L:L:L

I read two hours and thought "No way!!!" Then I re-read it and you said plugs, not plugs and wires.

No idea on how long it would take for the wires but i'm sure of two things....you would be best off with a lift to change wires and 2 I would do the water pump and Opti spark at the same time cause a lot has to come off to route the wires properly...main word would be proper as i've seen vettes wired very poorly. My wires were still in great shape, lucky for me.
