I pulled this info from Corvette Fever Magazines annual Top 100 Repair shops. I was surprised that there was only two listings, one of which specializes in BMW and Mercedes, but hey, a good mechanic is a good mechanic.

Make sure that whoever performs the flush that they also drain the block as well.

Ummm :confused how do you drain the block ? remove the knock sensors ? or hold the car upside down and shake ?

Drain the block

Yes, remove the knock sensors. Pinch the electrical connector to remove the wire then unscrew the sensor. If it truly hasn't been drained - ever - there may be lots of crud at the end of the threads. If no liquid comes out, poke the hole in the block with a screw driver and get a flood.
When refilling follow the FSM instructions. In case you haven't got an FSM yet, there's ONE air bleed on top of the thermostat housing in '95-96. Catch any spillage with a towel so it doesn't soak the opti. When running the engine during refill, watch the analog gauge and shut off the engine if the temp gets near 260F (that's the boiling point of 50/50 water antifreeze). Even though you successfully bleed the air, the FSM cautions against 'aggressive maneuvers' (what ever they are) until the engine temperature has been fully cycled (completely cold to fully warm) 3 or 4 times. I found this was good advice as the temp was erratic and high during those first few cycles.

Older engines (L98 etc.) require 'burping' which is futile with your LT4. Flush thoroughly and the FSM says do NOT use chemicals, water flush only.

LT1 Bleeder

I believe there is a Bleeder on All LT1 engines from 1992-1996!!~!!

Yes, that's correct. And the earlier ones evidently had two bleeders. Based on some posts (including photos) regarding two bleeders, I spent several long back aches trying to find the second bleeder before my manual arrived.
