Loooking for tips on how to keep my car clean while at the beach? Hardly enough room for luggage, cant bring washing supplies. My car gets coated with salt and sand film you can actually see it rolling acoss hood. To make matters worse, it is Night Race Blue Metallic, shows everything.
Tips from the pro's?

Salt haze is going to happen, and other stuff too, on occasion. If you can't carry ANYTHING, a commercial car wash is the only answer, but you have to find one that does a bucket wash. I carry a collapsible pail, packets of car wash soap. a rag and a chamois. It's a pretty small package, and I always seem have room.

I carry a couple of rolls of quarters for the car washes, I carry a wheel brush and a chamois (microfiber towels) and detail wax in a small spray bottle.

Finding a car wash facility is the hard part in some areas but most beach vacation spots have plenty of them.

C-Magic has a travel kit that is pretty small. I have one of those with some minor additions and deletions that I put in my car when I'm traveling.

Collapsible bucket and quarter spray wash. Great ideas. Sometimes you just over think things. Thanks for the tips

There are some pretty good "waterless" wash products out there. All it would take is a spray bottle of the waterless car wash and some microfiber towels to keep that haze off the car.

We spend a couple of months each year in Florida, living across the street from the beach. My technique:

1. Good coat of sealant (wax) before leaving home, Wolfgang 3.0 or Rejex are my favorites.
Clean interior and insides of windows.

2. Use a TOUCHLESS car wash, with widely spaced guide rails or no guide rails at all, every week at the beach.
Use vaccuum at car wash, as needed.

3. Accept the fact that the car will often look crummy much of the time at the beach, but will clean up beautifully when you get home.

4. Complete cleaning/sealant (wax) upon arriving home.

Enjoy life!

Chadwicks?

How To Use - Chadwick's Triple Play

Although many say it works, thoughts of spraying a dirty car then wiping it off raises red flags here.

However, they require shade, finding shade at the beach isn't easy.
