I am going put a tuner on my 1993 LT1. Any suggestions as for brand type of tuner that would work the best for my car. I would like to be able to retune as I add performance parts. Thanks

Several self tune options but a very steep learning curve

You need a ALDL cable to connect to your laptop
OBD Diagnostics

Popular tuning software is TunerPro RT
TunerPro and TunerPro RT - Professional Automobile Tuning Software

also Tuner Cat

You need a adapter to replace the stock memcal ( chip )
G3 Bank Switching Adapter [G3] - $55.00 : Moates.Net
GP3 Switcher Adapter with ZIF and Chip [GP3] - $70.00 : Moates.Net

Then you have to decide whether you want to pull and reprogram a chip every time you make a change
'BURN2 Chip Programmer' [BURN2] - $85.00 : Moates.Net

or use a " realtime " emulator that allow instant tune adjustments direct from the laptop as you drive
'Ostrich 2.0 : The New Breed' [OSTRICH_2] - $175.00 : Moates.Net

( uses the same adapter as above )

Then you need software to datalog ( uses the same ALDL cable as for tuning ) so you can see what is going on so you can make adjustments
TunerPro software does datalogging as well as tuning

but Datamaster is more user friendly
TTS Power Systems
