Ok so a bracket question on the steering column

There is a gap between the column and the instrument cluster....
( Not quite sure how to communicate this )
The bracket on the column, that you see at the base of the cluster ( between speedo & tach ) are there different length brackets made for different years?
OR
Is there a difference between a stock column and a tilt tele in later years, as far as that bracket is concerned?

My bracket ( in a perfect world ) would need to be 1/2 " higher..

OR

Used 1963 1964 1965 1966 Corvette Steering Column to Pedal Assy Mounting Bracket | eBay

Maybe I'm missing that lower piece that works with the U bolt...

Thought's?

Mike

Mike, I clicked on the blue speedo in your post, and what I saw was DEFINITELY not the instrument cluster! ;LOL
MAN, I don't EVEN want to go there...............:L

The joy of advertizing to keep the bills paid. We try to keep the intrusions at minimum but sometimes the links are ironic... :rotfl

Ironic????? That's one way to put it, but I like hilarious much better! :L
Don't believe I ever saw one of those in the instrument cluster of ANY vehicle that I can recall.....:D
Andy :w

I missed it....it's not a link anymore. I can only imagine what it linked you to, with the word speed0.......don't really want to have it link again. ;LOL

Hey I didn't do that!!!!

It was a link to Amazon for SPEEDOS ( mens shorts )

Yea, I figured as much. As the dad of competition swimmers and swim team coach for many years, I'm well aware of what Speedos are. :D

Alrighty then... back on topic

I need 6 new tail light housings.....
I want Dual filament in each bulb...
I know the sleeve is cut ( which is part of the tail light housing ) for the lock pins on the bulb..
And the pins on the back of the housing accept the base socket...

So what else do I need to know... ( except who make a good one that will not break the bank )

Thanks
Mike

Guess who's 327 is missing a hole......

for the rear crank vent & potato masher...?

for the rear crank vent & potato masher...?

Must not be a 3782870 casting. I'm sure there are other castings that have the road draft tube crankcase ventilation. I hope so, I checked with Tracy Corvette in Michigan and they want $1,100.00 plus $250.00 shipping for a 870 block :ugh Sorry, out of my range! They will shave the block and re-stamp the numbers for $350.00. Just Checking!

That is what I have going. GMPP 350/290 is late crankcase ventilation.

Mark.
