Okay, I have been looking at rims for over a month trying to decide what ones I like. I have decided that I am not interested in spending 1000 bucks per rim. I like the chrome sawblades offered in Mid-America, however I would like the 17X11s for the rear. They only offer the size that fits the ZR-1.

My question is this, does anyone make 17X11s (preferably in chrome) in the sawblade design that will fit the wheel well without sticking out? (I have a 93 40th anniv.)

Is there anyone else running 17X11s? Where did you get them and are you having any problems?

Good luck with your search. I haven't seen any sawblades in 17x11 that were not ZR1 offset either and I don't know of anyone that makes an aftermarket version of the sawblade.

I mounted the 5-spoke in ZR1 offset and installed the GS fender flares.

You'll be looking for wheels with a 50mm offset (GS offset).

So the 5-spoke 17X11s with the GS offset should fit under the car without sticking out?

Yes. Several in my local club have done this and they look just fine without need for flares.

You can find chrome versions of the GS wheels at lots of wheel shops. Mid America lists the GS wheels in chrome out-right (606-059) for $1399.99. That's not too bad.

ZR-1s, in chrome. They just look soooooooooooo very cool.
I feel they are the best rims chevy came out with.
Just my thoughts.
