With These C3's It NEVER Stops

Toobroke, you use your '71 as a daily driver, being over 40 years old it will have problems from time to time. But I am a little curious as to how many miles it has done. Do you have any idea?

It Never Stops

As my '71 is my daily driver it wears parts out a lot faster than a weekend driver. But it seems like I have to repair something at least once a month.

Now both of my window springs are broken. Does it EVER stop with these C3's?

My guess would be that you have worked on both those doors sometime in the past........

Suddenly I feel like getting an upgraded walker.

I want a walker with disc brakes on it. And a catheter so I don't have to get up at night.

I was at Rite Aid a couple of weeks ago when I powered my left window down and heard a BANG followed by about 5 seconds of a "whirring" sound. I was really surprised it spun that long. So now I need to replace both of the springs but I'm in no hurry. My right side spring has been broken for at least 6 years but I haven't bothered to replace it because the window still goes up and down (really fast going down).

It also needs all new glass but I just don't feel like replacing them at this moment. My left door lock just came loose a week ago so I need to look into that and see why it loosened. A bad exhaust system rattle just started a couple of weeks ago and I need new front and rear bumpers because mine are in bad shape and way beyond re-chroming. Other than that it's in pretty good shape. I'm really looking foreword to installing the larger high performance valves and piston rings sometime in October when it's a bit cooler. My antique Black & Decker valve grinding machine will arrive tomorrow and I'm looking foreword to restoring it to like-new condition.

I'm even older; I'm a Vietnam Vet so go figure.. ;)

You drove a car with a broken spring and now, have two and continue to drive it; will wonders ever cease?

Now i feel even younger. That war was over before i was born

I'm glad I made someone feel good about my age.;LOL

My revenge would be simple... I could share the price of a 1969 427 COPO Camaro or a 69 BB Corvette. If that wasn't enough the price of blue Sunoco 260.. :D

As the song says Those were the days my friend, We thought they'd never end. Unfortunately they did end...
